This Is Me! =)
September 25, 2008My name is Erica Kathryn and I am a junior in high school. In my opinion, I am a very complex person. I am one of those people that may seem happy on the outside, but am falling apart on the inside. I have a strong tendency to push myself very to hard. When this happens I will often get stressed out or down on myself.
Sports and school are two of my favorite things. I love to play soccer and basketball. I may not be the most skilled athlete on the field or the court but I try as hard as I can and try my best to motivate my teammates. As for school, I am a good student and I am always eager to learn something new. Spanish, math and science are my favorite classes. Some of my other favorite things are singing and listening to music, lying on the beach, vacationing to New York, care bears, coffee (the drink & the ice cream) and i absolutely LOVE photography.
Lastly are my friends. Without them, I am not sure if I would be able to survive. Because I get down on myself so easily, my friends are the ones that really keep me going even if they do not know it. I may not be the most fun person to be with because I am not very adventurous, yet they always stick by me. In addition, I have the most amazing boyfriend ever!

Erica! I just wanted to tell you that you’re not alone when you say you may seem happy on the outside. We all try to mask our true feelings. What we don’t consider is the idea that the person sitting right next to us is just as miserable as we are sometimes. I know, look at who’s talking…the one who always smiles and feels the need to laugh at everything. I guess that’s my way of hiding my feelings sometimes. What helps me is always remembering that life is way too short to be unhappy. It’s like you blink and everythings different. Just live life to the fullest and don’t stress so much about the little things because in 20 years, they’ll mean nothing.
